The current economic turmoil is the result of a nation gone bad. Sorry folks, but truth is truth.
I don’t want you to panic, but I do want you to know the truth so you can turn things around in your own life before it’s too late.
You won’t hear this from the media or politicians or preachers, all of whom know how to manipulate you by feeding you information that will achieve the results they want.
God, on the other hand, has your best interests in mind. It simply makes ‘good sense’ to believe God.
God has been speaking to His children since the dawn of mankind. However, God’s warnings have gone unheeded in every generation. Usually, only a small sprinkling of people believe the warning and ‘save’ themselves from the judgment of God, which is the RESULT of people’s bad behavior.
“Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”
Bad behavior is ANY behavior that goes against the commandments (instructions) of God. Bad behavior produces bad results and we’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg in front of us.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”
The reason history repeats itself is because human beings have a short memory and have learned how to rationalize their behavior, trusting their own thoughts instead of trusting God.
The One who created you knows how to make your life work. He knows what your needs are and He designed a perfect self-sustaining creation that would provide everything you need. However, when mankind decided to ‘move away’ from God’s design and implement their own ideas, that’s when our trouble began.
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart (brain) was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
From the moment you arrived to Earth, God promised to provide your needs. He did not promise to fulfill your personal ambitions or satisfy your personal cravings. I’m not saying you cannot desire to achieve anything in this life, but I am saying that we as a nation have moved away from what’s truly important. We have ‘messed up’ our lives by interfering with nature and breaking the laws of God.
God has always worked by laws, which includes the laws of nature and the laws of science. When you interfere with any of His laws, you are guaranteed to get a negative result. Civilization itself is the biggest breaker of God’s laws which is why civilization is on a path of self-destruction.
We cannot turn back the clock, but we can STOP our ungodly behavior by becoming good stewards of all that God has given us.
We can STOP caving in to the pressures of media, business and community that want us to tolerate that which God hates.
We can RISK being disliked, even hated, to preserve our relationship with God — the One relationship upon which all other relationships depend.
Just like many parents ‘cave in’ to their children’s demands, so we as a nation have caved in to secular thinking and immoral culture, all of which has not gone unnoticed in the eyes of God.
We’ve been on a destructive course for decades — it didn’t arrive with the Bush Administration.
And if you think McCain or Obama can save us, you are in for another big surprise.
The only One that can save America is God!
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Our country is no longer God-blessed or God-protected. The ‘love of money’ has replaced the love of humans. We are breeding self-obsession and trading the strength of family life for individualism.
No wonder the East hates America. We are an increasingly ‘godless’ society, filled with broken families, disrespectful children, discarded elders, hypocrites, thieves and wasters. Our women act like men and our men act like women.
We excuse ungodly behavior in the name of tolerance.
We intellectualize sin.
We no longer teach our children by example that your word is your bond — that if you tell someone ‘Yes’ then you must keep your word. We allow ourselves and others to wiggle out of commitments by providing legal outlets at taxpayers’ expense, which means we are funding our own demise.
This is insanity!
If we as a nation can get back to the reality of In God We Trust then we have a chance of turning this nation around and preserving what family we have left.
Let’s get our backbone back.
